Welded Loop is a collaborative project between Knit in Motion (Suzanne Oude Hengel) and Studio Joris de Groot, which explores the innovative use of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) in shoe design by integrating knitting, welding and 3D printing techniques. This project aims to harness the unique properties of TPU to create functional and sustainable footwear. We warmly welcome you to visit our exhibition, as part of the Something Bigger exhibition at the Schellens Factory.

2000N Pressed Shoe

We are excited to present the 2000N Pressed Shoe collection as part of the exhibition by Schoenenkwartier at Microlab! As one of the selected designers collaborating with the Shoe Lab, we are showcasing the 2000N Pressed Shoe during Dutch Design Week. The soles, inspired by various types of car tires, were crafted during the artist-in-residence program at the Schoenenkwartier. Come and discover the final product, along with the process behind this unique collection at Microlab.
